There is something completely special about an early morning summer session, when the world is still cool and quiet. Brother proudly showed me his rock collection as soon as his feet hit the grass and told me about his love of cicadas, and sister picked wild strawberries, and mom and dad - I want to freeze them for you 🤍

I’ve been quiet here this month as I get ready f

I’ve been quiet here this month as I get ready for summer and all the adventures that brings. There’s a push and pull in our household of wanting the kids to be old enough to do more things, and never wanting them to get even a second older. My youngest still carries his baby voice and vocabulary, and I just want to hang on to what remains of his chubby baby face with all I have. 😭

I’ve been sorting through all my sessions from the end of last and beginning of this year, and I get this sort of overwhelm of emotions for all my families. It really flies by, doesn’t it? And I’m witnessing it with many of you as I capture the changing seasons. Nothing more to say today other than I feel it - that feeling - when I look at your moments, too.❤️
