I have too many words for this one. One of my dear I have too many words for this one. One of my dearest friends in the world and her sweet husband welcomed their little Marigold into the world, and we took some pictures. This friend. She’s faithful. She has celebrated with me, mourned with me, laughed with me. so. much, heard about daily details down to a pot of stew or a new pair of fuzzy socks, supported and encouraged me in a million ways, and let me absolutely spam her with photos of my kids and stream-of-consciousness texts. She is interwoven into my life, and her friendship has been one of my greatest blessings for so many years. So you should know that these photos here were talked about for QUITE some time. This is a dream turned reality, taking these photographs. Because she was made for this and wears it so beautifully. And getting to see all the wishes and prayers come to fruition is really just something else.  There’s no way to truly capture the peace that fills the beautiful home these two have created - or the raw JOY radiating off of both of them. But we sure gave it our best shot. ❤️

When I was still shooting weddings, I had the priv When I was still shooting weddings, I had the privilege of photographing Meg and Sam's wedding. I've been lucky enough through the years to get to follow along in their journey as they've welcomed their babies. These dear people. I couldn't begin to tell you how special they are. But they're rich in every way that matters. Their home is intentional and meaningful, and you feel like you belong there. This particular day, I got to see the wild strawberries in their backyard, see how the boys give kisses through the slats of their bed and watch out the window like little old men, and the big eyes of their beautiful new girly. This really is what matters, and I cannot tell you the honor it is to capture it. ❤️
