Chelsea + Greg
I often like to look back on my first e-mail exchange with a client when I get ready to publish their wedding day post. From the very first e-mail with sweet Chelsea, I knew she was “my” client. To quote a bit of her first e-mail to me, “We both just love spending time with our family and friends. I think that will be one of the best parts for both of us is having all of the people near and dear to our hearts in one place celebrating with us. I hope there are lots of images of us soaking up the the happiness of being with our loved ones and celebrating our forever promise to each other!” I think it’s so easy in today’s world to get caught up in the glam of the wedding day, and forget what it’s all about. These two had the right heart from the very beginning, and after reading this e-mail, I knew I had to be a part of their day. Despite the crazy cold October weather, the wedding could not have been more perfect. The ceremony and reception were held at Chelsea’s grandparent’s home (on property that has been in their family for generations). The were married under a wooden cross that was brought in and put in ground at the bottom of the hill behind the family home; overlooking land that holds so many memories for their family. Chelsea and Greg, your day was so filled with love, history, meaning, and celebration; it was truly my honor to be chosen to be a part of it!
